The Workers' Party has announced that it will be participating in major demonstrations in Belfast on June
16th to protest the arrival in the city of US President George W. Bush.
The Party says that the visit is unwelcome from a political figure who describes himself as a "War President"
and who has launched two major wars in Iraq and Afghanistan during his presidency, and has presided over blatant human rights
abuses of combatants who are denied prisoner of war status in defiance of International Law.
Full details of he protests will be unveiled shortly.
